Banana Bread French Toast
1/2 cup skim milk
1 whole egg
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
8 slices Banana Bread (see recipe)
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1. In a shallow pan combine milk, beaten egg, cinnamon and vanilla.
2. Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat and lightly coat with canola oil. Dip both sides
of bread into egg mixture and transfer to hot pan. Repeat for remaining slices. Cook until golden
brown on both sides. Serve 2 pieces with 2 tablespoons maple syrup.
