Beau’s Bar is located in the main house. We dedicated the bar room to one of our long term employees: Beau Robinson who retired Jan. 2013 after over 50 years of service. He was considered the heart of the house and could be found in the kitchen making impromptu meals including his famous Bermuda Fish Chowder Recipe. Beau was probably the only man working in the hospitality industry without a job title. He fulfilled every role from porter, to cook, to bartender. He had a ‘can do’ attitude and often said “You name it, I can do it!” He had a great sense of humor too. When asked how his full name, Brooks, Barakal Robinson managed to translate to Beau, he said,” I guess it had something to do with beautiful.”
